This is how we care for you at Rezero

Sometimes, what to do is already decided before you even step into the consultation room. A consultation begins with "I came to get this treatment," and it just flows from there. Rezero Clinic views this process a little differently. Rather than deciding what to do first, our care begins with identifying what is needed right now.

Even for the same concern, the starting point can differ

For example, even if patients visit with the same concern of a sagging face, the underlying causes vary. In some cases, the fat layers have shifted over time, in others, the skin has lost its elasticity, and sometimes it looks that way because the tissue has moved downward. While the outward appearance may look similar, the nature of the changes happening beneath the skin is different. This is why applying the same treatment in the same way does not yield the same results for everyone. Looking at what is actually happening first forms the foundation for the next choice.

Within the single word 'lifting', there are many paths

Even for treatments commonly grouped under one word, the layers of skin they target can differ. Some methods work relatively close to the surface, while others target deeper layers. This is why it is difficult to simply rank them by saying one is better than another. The appropriate approach depends on which layer of the skin the changes are occurring in. We believe that identifying where the change has occurred first, rather than choosing the tool first, is an approach that aligns closer to true medical care.

Medical judgment first, practical conditions second

At Rezero Clinic, consultations in the examination room are conducted in two steps. First, the doctor diagnoses and outlines the possible options based on those results. We discuss together what is necessary now, what does not need to be done, and what is better to observe over time. In the next step, practical conditions such as cost and schedule are discussed separately with the consultation manager. We have separated the space for medical judgment from the space for discussing costs. There is a reason we separate medical judgment and practical conditions into distinct steps. It is to ensure that the decision on what is appropriate is not swayed by other conditions like price or schedule. The diagnosis comes first, and choices are made together based on that foundation.

Sometimes, not adding is the answer

Not every visit leads to a treatment. There are times when previous treatments are sufficient, or when it is more appropriate to observe changes over time. In particular, treatments that add volume can lead to results that look different from one's original impression when accumulated, so there are times when advising against them is necessary. Saying "you do not need to do this" does not mean avoiding treatments altogether. We perform what is clearly necessary. It simply means that not adding what is unnecessary is also a part of medical care.

Observation is also a part of care

Skin and aging are areas where it is difficult to guarantee immediate results. Some changes are better addressed by observing the progress at regular intervals rather than trying to resolve them with a single treatment. The flow of diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up observation is the most basic structure of medical care, but keeping to this basic principle often creates a refined difference. Follow-up observation is not a time of doing nothing, but a time to observe the flow for the next decision. When you do not try to finish everything at once, a more natural direction often takes shape.

We begin with 'what is appropriate'

Care at Rezero Clinic starts by asking what is appropriate rather than what to do. Even for the same concern, the starting point is different for each person, there are many paths within the same treatment, and adding more is not always the answer. A doctor makes the medical judgment first, and choices are made together based on that. This is the flow that Rezero strives to keep in the consultation room every day.
